Medela's Supplemental Breastfeeding System (SNS) can be used by mothers and fathers who wish to supplement breastfeeding and support mothers and fathers who are unable to produce milk, including adoptive, surrogate, same-sex, transgender and non-binary parents , to create a breastfeeding experience.
It can also be used for infants who have difficulty breastfeeding and are discouraged.

2. How do I clean the Supplemental Nursing System (SNS), especially the tube?

The Supplemental Nursing System (SNS) can be easily cleaned at home. Before first use and after each use, clean all parts in plenty of warm soapy water, then rinse with clean water and dry with a clean cloth or allow to dry on a clean cloth. Use the special cleaning aid to effectively and easily clean the pipe by rinsing it with warm soapy water (3 times), then with clean water (3 times) and finally with air until it is visibly dry. Then further clean the container, TwistLok lid, valve and lid parts before first use and once a day in boiling water for 5 minutes, in the dishwasher or in the microwave using Medela's Quick Clean Bags . For a complete set of detailed cleaning instructions, read the Instructions for Use, as well as the SNS How To Video and the SNS QuickCard.

The Medela Supplemental Breastfeeding System (SNS) has been specially designed to be easy to use. After the SNS is cleaned, assembled (with the flow stop activated) and filled with the required amount of milk, attach the device securely to a bra strap, a blouse or a pillow. Place the baby on the breast. Once a good attachment is established, gently insert the thin, flexible tube 1.5-2cm into the upper corner of the baby's mouth parallel to the nipple. Open the flow clamp to let the milk flow. With the help of gravity and the advanced ventilation system, a controlled and constant flow of milk is released to the baby as it feeds. For more information on how to use SNS, read the User Guide, as well as the SNS How To Video and the SNS Quick Card.

4. How long can I use the Supplemental Breastfeeding System (SNS)?

The Medela Supplemental Nursing System (SNS) is a single-user reusable device suitable for repeated daily use. The device is safe to use until it shows the first signs of damage or weakness. You should consult a Healthcare Professional about how long to complete the system and when to switch or wean off using SNS.

5. How do I attach the white clip to the clear ring?

Open the clip at the top slightly. Thread the small ring hanger through it. Then, close the clip again, making sure to change the clip slot's tweezers to a criss-cross position with the small "teeth" pointing inward. This is important so that the clip can then be held tightly against the fabric you are attaching it to and hold the container securely in place.

6. How can I make sure I don't lose milk while feeding with this system?

The whole system is designed to secure your precious drops of milk. Always follow the assembly and cleaning instructions closely and you'll be ready to go. In case you still have the feeling that you are losing some drops, please always check the following:

* Is the device properly assembled with no missing parts?
* Is the cap screwed on well?
* Is the TwistLok connection firmly closed?
* Did you strictly follow the cleaning protocol?

All prices below include VAT. Upon completion of your order is automatically sent email with the analysis of your order. Refrigerated products are not sent outside the Prefecture of Thessaloniki for safety and proper maintenance.

SHIPMENT TO GREECE

For orders over 39,00 € up to 7 kilos, shipment is FREE. Product delivery in your area made by a courier company (courier) in about 1-3 working days. For some remote areas delivery time can reach 3-5 working days. For orders of less than 39,00 € shipping costs are only 2.00 euros. If the payment method is cash on delivery, there is a surcharge of 1,80€.

For orders that weight more than 7 kilograms (volumetric or actual weight) and regardless of their price, there are volumetric costs that are calculated automatically upon order's completion.

SHIPMENT TO CYPRUS AND ABROAD

Shipment to Cyprus made within 1-3 working days with partner courier company and paid by: VISA or Paypal.

Shipments Abroad

The orders abroad are shiped with DHL courier and paid by: VISA or Paypal.
Shipment cost depends on the weight and the volume of the order and it is automatically calculated by the system.
Products that contain alcohol or products that are sprays under pressure, can't be shipped abroad.

Shipments to EU countries and United Kingdom are delivered within 1-3 business days by DHL Express.

Shipments to Russia are delivered in 12-17 days with a value limit of 500 €.
Shipments to Ukraine are delivered in 5-10 days with a value limit of 100 €
Due to the conditions, shipments to Ukraine are significantly delayed during this period
Shipments to Georgia are delivered in 3-7 days with a value limit of 200 €
Shipments to Uzbekistan are delivered in 10-15 days with a value limit of 500 €
Shipments to Kazakhstan are delivered in 14-30 days with a value limit of 500 €

For shipments to United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, UAE, Qatar and all non-EU countries, there is a need for customs clearance of the parcel.
All costs of the customs clearance, if any, are borne by the recipient of the parcel.

According to Greek law, no medicines are sold online, nor can we receive and execute medical prescriptions.

Returns policy - For shipments to Greece

In an effort to meet our customers' expectations in the products they choose from Boxpharmacy.gr offer the possibility of a return to all products for exchange or full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of products based on documents receipt, provided that they adhere to the following terms.
