Florisene® is a clinically supported supplementation programme shown to help women with Chronic Telogen Effluvium (CTE), the term used to describe excessive and persistent hair shedding. CTE affects an incredible 4.8 million women in the UK and Florisene® is a cost- effective answer for patients (who are typically between the ages of 18-50) with this problem. To the health professional, hair loss in women may seem a complex area requiring specialist knowledge for diagnosis purposes. Whilst this is true for a small proportion of cases, 95% of hair loss cases can be divided into just 2 aetiological types: genetic hair loss (20%) and CTE (80%). Research involving hundreds of women has shown that the major cause of CTE is low serum ferritin. This reflects the amount of ‘storage’ iron in the body. When serum ferritin falls below a certain point which, varies to a degree between individuals (typically 40-70μg), the hair growth cycle is disrupted and hair shedding results.

For some women, this results in gradual hair loss - the end result to the sufferer being a ‘thinner’ ponytail or less hair to clip back. In others, the hair loss is very obvious with more hair in the brush and in the sink after shampooing. Low serum ferritin in women is now a widespread problem due, to reduced red meat consumption and menstrual blood loss in women of reproductive age. A low serum ferritin does not necessarily mean that the patient is anaemic (i.e. reduced haemoglobin level), CTE may occur without changes to haemoglobin concentration. Research has shown that if the serum ferritin is raised above the individual’s ‘trigger point’, then normal hair growth re-establishes. The studies that have supported this fact have also identified the importance of using a specific combination of nutrients which are present in Florisene®. Florisene® is a clinically-relevant iron supplementation programme, consisting of a highly absorbable form of iron, a significant level of the essential amino acid, L-lysine, plus 2 other known iron-synergists. Research indicates that low L-Lysine intakes may exacerbate a reduced ferritin level and clinical studies show that for some women ferritin levels will not improve without supplementary L-Lysine.

Florisene® is a patented formula available only from pharmacists and practitioners. Lamberts® Healthcare has produced a support package for the Health Professional to help their client in obtaining the right treatment. This includes staff training sessions, a diagnostic chart, a technical helpline for the Health Professional as well as a hair helpline for the consumer

Cautions: Other iron containing supplements should not be taken whilst taking Florisene®. Use in pregnancy, during breastfeeding, or if planning to become pregnant: Consult a doctor before taking Florisene®. Florisene® should not be taken whilst taking oral antibiotics. Florisene® should not be taken within 2 hours of taking any medication, including indigestion remedies. This amount of iron may cause mild stomach upset in sensitive individuals. This product contains iron, which if taken in excess, may be harmful to young children. Keep out of sight and reach. Florisene® is safe at the recommended intake. In cases of overdosage, seek medical help.

Tableted with: Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose, Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Acetylated Mono and Diglycerides, Colours: Titanium Dioxide & Iron Oxide), Crosslinked Cellulose Gum, Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate.

Disintegration time: Less than 1 hour.   Suitable for vegetarians

Usage and administration: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily for the first 6 months. Thereafter, for maintenance purposes, take 1 to 2 tablets daily. However, for those who have heavy periods or who eat little or no red meat, then 2 tablets may be required. Florisene® should be taken with water half to one hour before food or on an empty stomach. It is best to avoid drinks containing milk, or tea and coffee within an hour of taking Florisene® as these drinks affect absorption of the nutrients.

Storage instructions: To be stored in a cool, dry place and protected from light.

SHIPMENT TO GREECE

For orders over 39,00 € up to 7 kilos, shipment is FREE. Product delivery in your area made by a courier company (courier) in about 1-3 working days. For some remote areas delivery time can reach 3-5 working days. For orders of less than 39,00 € shipping costs are only 2.00 euros. If the payment method is cash on delivery, there is a surcharge of 1,80€.

For orders that weight more than 7 kilograms (volumetric or actual weight) and regardless of their price, there are volumetric costs that are calculated automatically upon order's completion.

SHIPMENT TO CYPRUS AND ABROAD

Shipment to Cyprus made within 1-3 working days with partner courier company and paid by: VISA or Paypal.

Shipments Abroad

The orders abroad are shiped with DHL courier and paid by: VISA or Paypal.
Shipment cost depends on the weight and the volume of the order and it is automatically calculated by the system.
Products that contain alcohol or products that are sprays under pressure, can't be shipped abroad.

Shipments to EU countries and United Kingdom are delivered within 1-3 business days by DHL Express.

Shipments to Russia are delivered in 12-17 days with a value limit of 500 €.
Shipments to Ukraine are delivered in 5-10 days with a value limit of 100 €
Due to the conditions, shipments to Ukraine are significantly delayed during this period
Shipments to Georgia are delivered in 3-7 days with a value limit of 200 €
Shipments to Uzbekistan are delivered in 10-15 days with a value limit of 500 €
Shipments to Kazakhstan are delivered in 14-30 days with a value limit of 500 €

For shipments to United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, UAE, Qatar and all non-EU countries, there is a need for customs clearance of the parcel.
All costs of the customs clearance, if any, are borne by the recipient of the parcel.

Returns policy - For shipments to Greece

In an effort to meet our customers' expectations in the products they choose from Boxpharmacy.gr offer the possibility of a return to all products for exchange or full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of products based on documents receipt, provided that they adhere to the following terms.

Please note that:

We reserve the right to reject product returns not repaid according to the terms return policy listed below.

The following conditions must be met for returning products to boxpharmacy.gr:

Return exchange request must not exceed 14 working days from the delivery date based on the documents receipt.
All returns and exchanges must be received in original condition you received the item.

If there is a mistake of our company, the return is accepted if you notify us within no more than 5 working days. We refund the money corresponding to the value of the order and the shipping costs.

If it does not appear any error on the part of our company is refunded only the amount corresponding to the value of products and shipping costs borne by the customer only.
